EMBL-EBI, based in Hinxton, near Cambridge, is looking to recruit an expert in chemogenomic analysis to support their work on the Horizon 2020 project “Coordinated Research Infrastructures Building Enduring Life-science services” (Corbel).
The ideal candidate will have a PhD (or equivalent) in a chemical, biological or biomedical science, a sound knowledge of chemoinformatics, pharmacology and mechanisms of drug action, and at least 5 years postgraduate experience of working in a research environment on multi-disciplinary projects. Prior experience of data analysis and working with chemical structures and bioactivity data is essential. Experience of handling and manipulating large data sets is also essential. You will also have a good understanding of the components of the drug discovery process.
