BioExcel and EuroCC workshop in Portugal

In collaboration with the National Competence Centers in Portugal, France, Spain and Ireland we are pleased to announce our second Ambassador Program workshop. The two and a half day workshop is open to all participants from EuroHPC Joint Undertaking members and will take place face-to-face from 26-28 November in Coimbra, Portugal and online. The hybrid, hands-on workshop will focus on the use of BioExcel core codes (GROMACS, HADDOCK, PMX and BioBB) for intermediate to advanced users and will also cover the use of AlphaFold. You can find further information and how to register by following the link to the event page on the BioExcel website.

BioExcel success stories

We report a number of recent success stories including the HADDOCK server reaching 50,000 users, the work done by the GROMACS team to improve the performance of free energy calculations and our collaborative efforts with the rest of the community to implement FAIR principles in biomolecular simulations.

Report: BioExcel and RITrainPlus workshop

We summarise the recent workshop organised together with the RITrainPlus project on "upskilling and training users in science and research" which includes some of the learnings from the event.

Webinar series: update

We are working to bring a new series of webinars to the community starting this December or early next year. We have a few topics lined up like running complex MD workflows on HPC infrastructure and modeling Glycans. Keep an eye out on our website and watch this space!
